Wave 1: 25 October 2026 to 1 November 2026

• Refreshed the pay bands and Agenda for Change pages with 2026/27 figures, monthly take-home and links to new guides.
• Added the NHS Pension calculator and the unsocial hours calculator.
• Added take home pay guides for Band 5, Band 6 and Band 7.
• Added the guides to pension contribution rates and unsocial hours pay rates.

Wave 2: 2 November 2026 to 8 November 2026

• Added the London weighting calculator and the bank shift and overtime calculator.

Wave 3: 9 November 2026 to 15 November 2026

• Added the part-time calculator, the student loan calculator and the pay rise calculator.

Data checks

• Pay and awards. Checked against the NHS Employers 2026/27 scale for England: 3.3% from 1 April 2026.
• NHS Pension. Checked tier ceilings (up 3.8% from April 2026) and the 23.7% employer rate.
• Tax and NI. Checked the personal allowance, income tax bands and National Insurance thresholds for 2026/27.
• Student loans. Checked thresholds for Plans 1, 2, 4 and 5 and the postgraduate loan.
